ScHoolboy Q Talks Almost Quitting Music, Personal Struggles :::: #Music

Fresh off the release of his Blank Face LP, ScHoolboy Q opened up during an interview on Real 92.3 this week, revealing that getting to this point was a difficult task for him.
Before discussing his album, the Los Angeles rapper said that current events, alongside personal struggles, have impacted him deeply... though the release of a new album should be a joyous time for an artist.
"It's a lot of stuff going on. It ain't just about me and my music. It’s tough times right now," Q said.
"I’m going through some things in my personal life," he continued. "A lot of things crashed into me the day my album dropped. It’s hard for me to enjoy this moment. This is probably one of the worst days of my life. It happens to be the day that my album came out. It’s a little hard for me right now."
From there, Q finally discusses his career and music, revealing that he nearly quit music in between this album and his previously Oxymoron LP, the Black Hippy Remixto "THat Part", working with Kanye West, and of course, the Blank Face LP.
