NFL GM Who Asked Top 2010 Draft Prospect If His “Mom Was A Prostitute” Revealed, Offers Apology

Dez Bryant Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant, that fine chocolate specimen photographed above/2010 NFL first round draft pick (Dallas Cowboys), explained the tough process he underwent while being recruited by teams in preparations for this year’s NFL draft. One memory stood out the most where one team’s high-level exec had the nerve to ask him if his mother was still a prostitute and on drugs.
Peep the entire story and more lovely flicks on Dez when you…
The media criticism has been frustrating, but some of the probing from prospective employers has been downright offensive to Bryant. During one visit, the receiver sat in the office of a franchise’s high-level executive and was asked a shocking question.
“They asked me if my mom’s a prostitute,” Bryant says, an account that was confirmed by Wells, who attended the meeting. “No, my mom is not a prostitute. I got mad – really mad – but I didn’t show it. I got a lot of questions like that: Does she still do drugs? I sat and answered all of them.”
Bryant’s mother, Angela, had him when she was 15 and conceived his younger sister and brother within the next three years. She reportedly sold drugs, and she served a prison term during Dez’s childhood; at various times he lived with relatives and family friends. Dez and Angela are very close, and she will be with him at Wells’ house for a festive draft party Thursday evening.
Jeff Ireland Miami Dolphins GM
Here’s the shady bastard who asked Dez if his mother was a prostitute during the scouting process. Miami Dolphins GM, Jeff Ireland, has now officially apologized for the incident:
Ireland took the unusual step of calling Bryant himself to apologize. Ireland later issued a statement to explain his regret over the matter.
“My job is to find out as much information as possible about a player that I’m considering drafting,” Ireland said in a statement. “Sometimes that leads to asking in-depth questions. Having said that, I talked to Dez Bryant and told him I used poor judgment in one of the questions I asked him. I certainly meant no disrespect and apologized to him.”
Ireland went on to say he appreciated Bryant’s “acceptance of that apology” and said he told Bryant he “wished him well as he embarks on his NFL career.”

Man Who Murdered Malcolm X Freed From Prison

After serving 44 years behind prison walls, Thomas Hagan, who admitted to his role in the assassination of Malcolm X, was paroled on Tuesday.
Hagan is the only man to confess to killing Malcolm X, who was gunned down back in 1965 during a speech delivered in New York's Audubon Ballroom.
"I have deep regrets about my participation in that," he told the parole board on March 3, according to a transcript. "I don't think it should ever have happened."
According to the New York State Department of Correctional Services, Hagan, 69, was released a day early due to paperwork being processed faster than what was initially expected.
Pleading a case for freedom last month, Hagan asked that he be returned to his family and hoped to become a substance abuse counselor.
Being held at the minimum-security Lincoln Correctional Facility, Hagan serviced his time by being a participant in a full-time work-release program that started back in March 1992.  As part of the stipulations of the program, he was given the opportunity to live with his family five days of the week and report back to the prison the other two days.
Initially, he was sentenced 20 years to life imprisonment after being found guilty back in 1966 while the other two involved were released in the 1980s and still deny their involvement in the murder.
As part of his deal, Hagan was required to acquire and maintain employment, support his children and abide by a curfew while he is free.  According to Hagan, he has been working for the past seven years at a fast-food restaurant.
In relation to his release, the Nation Of Islam has been sought out, but they declined any comment on the news.

I Love My Husband But . . .

I am torn between following my heart or my mind. I am really stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am 26 years old and my husband is 36 years old. We have been together for almost four years but only married for a year and seven months. Before we were married we had our ups and downs but that was nothing compared to now! He was just too good to be true, a real casanova. I have a four-year-old daughter from a previous relationship that he would do anything for. Now we have a three month old son together. Our marriage had already been one-sided when I first found out that I was pregnant with our son. I have been unemployed since the pregnancy due to some medical complications, but he is a wonderful provider and a hard worker. Anything that the kids or I need he has no problem buying it. Every weekday he gets up and takes our daughter to school and I don’t see him again until night time even on his off days. He owns his own barber shop and every weekend he’s hanging out with the fellas and I just want to know where do I fit into his life? His cousin and his cousin’s girlfriend come by his barbershop every day like clockwork. When we have company he just ignores me like I’m not even there. He is constantly running to his mother whenever he needs something when I am right here and have always been there for him. She is constantly in our business. He has also gotten to the point where he’ll talk to me any kind of way without any respect whether we’re at home in front of the kids, with visitors, or out in public. Whenever I call him, he rushes me off the phone but he can sit and talk to everyone else all day. I have tried everything to keep my marriage together but now it’s getting to the point where I can’t stand to see him or hear his voice. I’ve asked him a dozen times “what can I do to make you spend time with me?” but all he does is brush me off. I really want to save my marriage, but I feel like I’m in this alone. I love my husband with all my heart but I am really getting fed up. What’s a woman to do? Should I stay or should I go?
Hey sis! First and foremost, thank you for writing and sharing. Sorry to hear that you’re struggling in your marriage. Naturally, these rocky pockets are to be expected but it’s all in how you maneuver through these times. You can come out of this juncture a stronger couple or realizing you need to make other moves. But the point is to get back to that space where you’re having many moments like the couple pictured above, right? So if you want to work it out, put it out there and don’t waver between staying or going. Set the tone of unity.
To get to the root of the issue, you say feel alone in your marriage. But the truth of the matter is, he might feel alone also. When you’re not working together as husband and wife, there’s a certain amount of loneliness on behalf of both parties, which may be why your husband spends most of his free time outside the home. On the other side of the spectrum, he may be overwhelmed with the new baby – as joyful as he is – and feeling the pressures of raising and supporting a growing family. Unfortunately though, instead of confronting fears and responsibilities, some tend to find ways to escape them. Not to mention, men aren’t the ones to readily admit when they’re rattled by their reality. So you have to find the right time where you feel he’ll really open up and discuss his issues. Just listen, sis. Let him vent, listen, take some time to digest what he says and respond later if you feel the need. At times, a listening ear is worth more than words.
As far as his mother goes, he’ll have to stop sharing so much with her. Definitely let him know what your concerns are in terms of her involvement. But that’s something he, and only he, will have to put an end to. Otherwise she’ll continue to make things hard, if not worse! Tread light with mothers and their grown sons (SMH), they can make or break your marriage. Sad but true. So let him sort that out with her. But from behind the scenes, however, make sure she’s reminded that, if nothing else, you are the mother of her grandson and you’d like to remain on good terms with her. She’ll get what you’re saying.
But one thing you should absolutely NOT tolerate is him disrespecting you at home, in public and in front of the children. You’ve got to put a stop to that by any means necessary! Do NOT get into the habit of tolerating this type of treatment! It’s not healthy and if you don’t check it now, it’ll only get worse. But why does he feel like this is acceptable behavior? The better question is: why is he suddenly lashing out? This is why you have to talk it out. Ask him what’s troubling your marriage in his opinion. Ask him if he wants – to work it out or split and be prepared for either answer. You have to start talking to each other, asap! If he’s willing to communicate and try to make your marriage work, that’s half the battle, but after that ready yourself for some good hard work! Put on your battle armor, love is, oftentimes, war and it doesn’t die without a good fight! Fight for your family and for your marriage! The end result is worth it.

Mr. Marcus Writes The Book On Layin’ Pipe: “The Porn Star Guide To Great Sex”

"Mr. Marcus Poses With His New Book The Porn Star Guide To Great Sex"
There are very few black men laying it down in the adult film industry, and when it comes to black male “Porn Stars” Mr. Marcus would be the one to write the book on the subject! BOSSIP got our hands on a juicy excerpt from Mr. Marcus’ upcoming guide, just Pop the Hood for a read.
Mr. Marcus’ book “The Porn Star Guide To Great Sex” doesn’t hit stores until June 22, but OZONE Magazine published an excerpt in their new Sex Issue. Check out part of that excerpt below:
Some of the best sex induces a sense of vulnerability, a permissiveness that allows your lover unlimited access to your erogenous zones and G-spots and pressure points and nether regions. She’s spreading her legs, letting you lick her here, sucking you there, fondling and fingering and whispering your name. You are a part of her, and her you. She’s yours to do what you will—as long as you do it right.
This vulnerability gives you a certain power when making love, the power to manipulate, to compel her to act out her wildest, darkest fantasies. She wants to be filled, to be used, to be satisfied. Even as a teenager, I found a paradox in sex—that she’s giving you permission to violate her—that was in itself an aphrodisiac, an addiction that would quickly morph into my avocation….
I accidentally discovered porn in ’86. I used to borrow my step-dad’s socks. He always had brand-new clean socks, so I would sneak into his drawer and take a pair. One day as I was digging for a matching pair, I discovered his stash of hardcore adult magazines. No one was home, so I pulled out the stack and went through all of the magazines. There was a mixture of black and white photo spreads and a series of color photos all set to differently themed magazine titles. They immediately caught my attention. All of the magazines were hardcore, so there was a photo or two to establish a sort of story, followed by immediate action and ultimate penetration…

Porn Star Pinky Speaks On Her First Encounter With Nicki Minaj

It appears that Nicki Minaj and porn star Pinky have known each other for several years. Pinky recently spoke with Vlad TV about their first encounter. She revealed,

“Before I heard her rap I thought she looked good but then when I heard her rap I was like, Oh. I was really excited because you don't get normally girls that look good and can spit. It's other girls that look good don't get me wrong but to me in my opinion, she looked better than the other ones.
It's ok for me to be on her di*k because I knew her before she blew up. I'm not just a Barbie fan-fanatic, I knew her before.”

U.S. To End Haiti Disaster Relief In June

The U.S. military will end its Haiti disaster relief effort on June 1, six months after the island was struck by a 7.0 earthquake that left an estimated 200,000 people dead and 1,000,000 people homeless.
The military has slowly been pulling out of the impoverished nation with around 2,200 troops still stationed down from the 22,000 assigned at the height of relief efforts.
Although disaster relief is expected to end in June, there will still be 500 National Guard and Reserve personnel stationed in the country.
U.S. Southern Command chief Lt. Gen. Ken Keen tells the BBC that the military is stepping back because of “the increasing capacity of non-government organizations that are really running much of the humanitarian efforts within the country.”

Jim Jonsin Sues Lil Wayne Over Royalties For 'Lollipop'

Lil Wayne is no stranger to lawsuits, even if he's behind bars. The latest comes from producer Jim Jonsin, who claims the rapper owes him money.
According to a New York Post report, the producer has hit Weezy (real name: Dwayne Carter, Jr.) with a lawsuit over royalties for the rapper's hit single, "Lollipop," which he produced.
He claims he's yet to receive a royalty check from the single, even though it's one of biggest singles the rapper's ever had.
Jonsin is suing for $500,000.
Earlier this year, Lil Wayne was sued for $2.5 million for copyright infringement over his single, "Mrs. Officer," after the song's producer said the rapper and his label stopped paying him royalties for the single.
Before that, in 2008, he was sued by Karma Ann Swanepoel and her publishing company over samples used on Weezy's widely distributed track, "Dying." They claim the rapper samples her song, "Once," without permission or consent.
Both lawsuits are pending.

LA's DJ Hideo Passes Away After Year-Plus Long Battle With Cancer

Well known Los Angeles-based disc jockey, DJ Hideo, passed away Saturday afternoon (April 24), succumbing to complications of colon-liver cancer, which he has been battling for over a year.
He passed away at 3:22 pm "peacefully" and "surrounded by his family," said his official website (DJHideo.com). He was just 42 years of age, nearing his 43rd birthday.
Hideo's friend, DJ K-Sly, gave an update about his condition on Friday (April 23). She wrote on her Twitter page (@DJKSly) that he was in severe pain and asked that doctors not resuscitate him when he goes. He asked that he had no visitors during his final hours either.
He posted a final blog entry his website early Saturday, which explained that the DJ had checked back into Mission Hospital in Orange Country, Calif. because he had been feeling weak. At the time of the post, he said his vitals were stable, but unfortunately he passed away hours later.
"Wanted to let everybody know that I check in back @ Mission hospital last week because of the weakness that I've been feeling for the past week," the DJ wrote. "My vitals are stable and now need the assistance of a ventilator to breathe. I'm very aware of my condition and communicate in writing. ... Right now, the one thing I really do miss is drinking a nice ice cold soda."
Hideo was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in early 2009. After he learned of the news and broke it to his peers, his close-knit friends in the music biz banded together to throw a concert called "Best In the West: Operation Hideo", benefiting his fight against cancer.
News of the DJ's passing has spread through Twitter, drawing reactions and RIP messages from peers, friends and fans.
"I am so saddened & so angered over DJ Hideo's passing. Why do the good die young? Better go home before I break something," a member of Los Angeles-based clothing brand, The Originators, wrote on their Twitter page (@TheOriginators).
"R.I.P. DJ Hideo, thanks for the great time throughout the year! You'll be missed by all," DJ Stutter chimed in (@DJStutter).
"Damn....rip DJ hideo.........," added Chino XL (@ChinoXL).
"RIP to my homie DJ Hideo. You will be missed my man. One love," Talib Kweli tweeted (@RealTalibKweli).
DJ Hideo and his family had set up a website, DJHideo.com, where they revealed his bout with cancer and gave updates. Also on the site, they had and are currently accepting donations, which will now go to his family to help with funeral costs.
The DJ had no medical insurance. We're told his medical bill alone was well over $1 million.

SEC Employees Watched Porn As The Economy Crashed? WTF?

LMAO, we knew there was a reason our country's economy fell into a near recession when there's agencies in place to watch things. While the U.S. was sinking into its worst financial crisis in more than 70 years, Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) employees and contractors were browsing and downloading porn on government computers. Not just a little either.
Some staffers had so much porn, they had to burn them on to CDs, which they stored in their offices. We're talking boxes of CDs/DVDs stores too.
The SEC is responsible for enforcing federal securities laws and regulating the securities industry, the nation's stock and options exchanges, and other electronic securities markets within the nation. If they did, they might have seen the crash coming.
According to a CNN report, 33 SEC employees violated Commission rules over the past five years "by viewing pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive images using government computer resources and official time", as said in a summary of an investigation by the inspector general's office.
Some were too busy watch porn though. These same employees also raked in between $99,000 and $223,000 a year, earning their salaries by surfing for porn for hours.
According to CNN, one regional office staff accountant tried to access pornographic websites nearly 1,800 times on her SEC laptop during a two-week period. They also found around 600 pornographic images saved on the hard drive.
Another senior attorney at SEC headquarters admitted to downloading pornography up to eight hours a day, according to the investigation.
"In fact, this attorney downloaded so much pornography to his government computer that he exhausted the available space on the computer hard drive and downloaded pornography to CDs or DVDs that he accumulated in boxes in his office," the inspector general's report said.
"It is nothing short of disturbing that high-ranking officials within the SEC were spending more time looking at pornography than taking action to help stave off the events that brought our nation's economy to the brink of collapse," Rep. Darrell Issa. The Republican, a ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, told CNN.

What What In The Butt??? Study Shows NYC Women Are Getting Anally Plowed Raw Doggystyle

"Condoms Durex Safe Sex"
This is disturbing. A new report published by New York City’s Department of Health discovered that, while over 100,000 NYC women are having anal intercourse each year, many are not protecting themselves from HIV or other STD’s. Pop the hood for the dirty details.
The new report highlights the importance of safer sex in a city where approximately 74,000 new sexually transmitted infections are reported each year, along with 3,800 new HIV diagnoses. According to the study:
Unprotected anal sex poses well known health hazards for men, but new research suggests that the practice is a significant health issue for women as well.
Anal membranes are easily damaged during sex, facilitating the spread of infection. Past studies suggest that anal exposure to HIV poses 30 times more risk than vaginal exposure. But the New York City findings suggest that women are less likely than men who have sex with men to use condoms during anal sex. The figure is just 23%, according to the new report, compared to 61% among men who have sex with other men.
“Tens of thousands of New Yorkers are engaging in sexual behavior that is especially risky,” said Dr. Thomas Farley, New York City Health Commissioner. “Many people are aware of the risk of HIV when men have sex with other men, but this report shows that a large number of women also are putting themselves at high risk through unprotected anal sex. For both men and women, the overall message is clear: Never engage in unprotected anal sex. Use a condom every time.”
Unprotected anal sex is most common among younger women and those with multiple partners. Women 18 to 24 years old are nearly six times more likely than those aged 45 to 64 to report unprotected anal sex (11% versus 2%). And whereas 15% of women with three or more sex partners reported engaging in anal sex in the past year, the figure was just 4% among those with one partner. Reports of anal sex in the past year are similar across race and ethnicity, with Asian women reporting 8%, white women 7%, Hispanic women 6% and black women 4%.
The report does not estimate the HIV burden among women who engage in unprotected anal sex, but most HIV infections diagnosed in women result from heterosexual intercourse. Among women with known sources of exposure, heterosexual contact accounted for 90% of the infections diagnosed in New York City in 2008. But studies have shown that women who have unprotected anal sex with an HIV-infected man even one time are about 30 times more likely to get HIV than if they had unprotected vaginal sex once!!!
Crazy!!! 74,000 new STD cases a year??? Gotham is BURNING like a muhfugga…
Please wrap it up guys and girls, especially if you like having your anal membranes massaged by man-meat!

Steve Harvey Hit With $2 Million Tax Lien From The IRS

Seems like funnyman Steve Harvey has an issue with the IRS that's no laughing matter.  The IRS filed a $2,159,204 lien against his company Wonder Love, Inc.
Harvey's lawyer Ricky Anderson says the comedian was unaware of the lien and stated,
“He's certainly unable to give any comment. He's got competent tax counsel in Chicago that handles all of his tax affairs.”
"Even though I'm not allowed to say anything concerning this tax matter...my lawyers are addressing any and all matters, with the attention that this matter deserves.
My foundation work is my mission toward securing a brighter future for the young men in our communities...and with God's help that work will succeed.
I want to thank the well-wishers and fans for their support, and rest assured this is being handled professionally.”
As previously reported, Steve Harvey also recently struck a deal with BET to air his “Steve Harvey Show” on the network's new sister station Centric.  Set to air later this year, Steve will offer relationship advice on the show and interview other entertainers and celebrities.

Erykah Badu's 'Window Seat' Shoot Could've Landed Her In Jail

Erykah Badu in 'Window Seat' videoErykah Badu grabbed headlines this week when she leaked the clip for "Window Seat" over the weekend. It was the shock of the singer shedding her clothing in public that drew all the attention. But, it could've gotten her into trouble.
Earlier this week, she explained that the clip was shot in one continuous shot through downtown Dallas, taking just a few minutes to capture. But, according to MTV, it was done without an official permit.
With that said, if the cops caught Badu, she could've gotten some jail time ... up to a year to be exact.
A Dallas PD spokesperson told MTV that in addition to a "special events permit," the shoot would require traffic control and police presence.
They said if an officer would've spotted her, it would've been shut down immediately.
However, the directors of Badu's music video, Coodie and Chike of Creative Control, say they were prepared. So much so that they were expecting to get arrested.
"What was crazy was the fact that ... it's a high tourist area, so there was patrol cars all day, and I [was hearing] sirens, looking up and seeing some kind of sherriff's car or something," Chike told MTV. "So I was like, 'This is gonna be interesting.' Her contingency plan was get arrested — she was big on doing it.
"We had bail money and everything," Coodie added. "I think she really wanted to get arrested and even make a bigger message. You know what I'm saying?"
As soon as they wrapped the scene, Badu was whisked away in a van almost immediately.

If Badu would have been arrested, it was possible that she could've been charged with a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure, which carries a fine of up to $2,000 and a jail term of up to 180 days, or both. And, since there were children present, it might've been an enhanced charge that could have carried a steeper sentence of up to one year in jail.
Still, since no officers witnessed the shooting of the clip, the spokesperson tells MTV its unlikely Badu will be charged with anything.
No charged have been filed thus far.

Lil Eazy-E Remembers His Father 15 Years After His Death

Lil Eazy-EIt's been 15 years since his father passed away from complications from AIDs. Even today, Eazy-E is the godfather of gangster rap. But his son, Lil Eazy-E, carries on his father's name.
Over the years, he's been able to cope a little easier each anniversary of his death. Today, the rapper says when March 26th comes around, it's more like a celebration. In an interview with MTV, the legendary rapper's son discusses how his family deals with it each year, and the 15th anniversary
"As I got older, it was more of a celebration," Lil Eazy said. "I got a lot of strength through support of people. I'm the oldest son, so you gotta be there. Just like this morning, my grandmother had it kinda hard. I don't know if it's because it's 15. Today, I knew she had it hard. I can't let the morning hit me too hard. Usually, every year, I do a little radio tribute, me and Julio G. It gives a little inspiration. The fans give love and support. It lightens me up. But on my personal tip, it's not a good day. It's not."
Lil Eazy also recalled one of the last memories he had of his father, one where he visited him in the hospital during his last days.
"My last one was about when he first went into surgery for leakage in his lungs," Lil Eazy said. "He went to the hospital. We was chillin', talking, not understanding he was sick. He was like how he is every other day, eating a hamburger. You're not supposed to, but you're eating a hamburger. We was chillin' in Cedars Sinai. That was the last fondest, good memory. Then I was called in a couple of days before he passed away, and he couldn't talk. I just walked in, and they let me see him. He couldn't say nothing. I just cried. As a kid, I couldn't understand it, why he couldn't say nothing to me. He's squeezing my hand as I exited from the room."
Eazy-E passed away on March 26th, 1995, due to complication from the AIDS virus. According to MTV, his son Lil Eazy continues to promote awareness of the disease to this day.
