Here’s A Project We Were Involved With…The Premiere Of Teen Vogue’s Strictly Ballet 2, featuring Miami City Ballet Dancers

Teen Vogue pursued Season 02 of their acclaimed “Strictly Ballet” documentary series. The first season was focused in New York City, but Season 02 was focused on the Miami City Ballet and six of its amazingly talented dancers. We got the chance to join the crew for some time during their filming schedule earlier this year (which was throughout February and March). We (Dro Photography, a subdivision of The305.com) handled the behind the scenes and on-set photography and we’re glad to finally see this unique series finally premiere. Without revealing or spoiling any details about the season, I can tell you that its very Miami Beach inspired and covers a world that not a lot of us outside of it really know about. The season also introduces you to six unique young people that have so much love and passion for their dance careers and have worked so hard since they were children to get where they are today. Press play above for the first episode and click below for an introduction to the six-person cast…

Its the end of an era for the original location of The Stage in the Design District. We feared this day would come as the Design District is getting its high-end overhaul so the crashing down of Th Stage was bound to happen. Yesterday, The Stage sent out an email stating the venue will officially close for good on May 10th, 2015. And leading up to the final closing, they will have a series of events (listed below), but that if the right opportunity presents itself, they will be reopening in a new nearby location. Read below for their official press release:
The Stage Miami, South Florida’s premiere live music venue will officially be closing its doors at its current location on May 10, 2015. Due to dramatic changes in the area, the building and land where The Stage currently resides will be sold and The Stage’s current lease will not be renewed.
Sound Theory Live Holdings LLC, the group that currently owns and runs The Stage and its proprietors are currently in the process of planning an ambitious schedule of great live events to carry Stage fans through to a triumphant grand finale that will run through April and May.
In the meantime, the search has begun for a new location to house a new venue that will maintain the tradition of excellence that The Stage has provided over the last five years. Live local and national music events, private events and cultural expositions will remain at the heart of The Stage’s mission going forward.
We invite you to come and enjoy one of the most unique spaces to showcase live music and events in Florida over the next two months.
