Rachel Roy Denies Being “Becky” in Beyonce’s “LEMONADE” :::: #Music

Following the release of Beyonce'sLEMONADE, the Internet went crazy over a specific line the pop star sings.

"Middle fingers up, put them hands high / Wave it in his face, tell him, boy, bye / I ain't thinking 'bout you!" Bey sings, before adding: "He better call Becky with the good hair."
Since hearing the lyrics, fans have speculated that fashion designer Rachel Roy is the "Becky" she's referring to.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Roy defends herself, denying a rumored affair with Bey's hubby Jay Z, while claiming her much-discussed Instagram post has been misunderstood.
"I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest," Roy, who is Dame Dash's ex-wife, said. "My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."
Roy goes on to address Beyonce's fans, who have been harassing her online. "Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats," she added. "As a mother—and I know many mothers would agree—I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable."
"I would hope that the media sees the real issue here—the issue of cyber bullying—and how it should not be tolerated by anyone."
