L.A. Rams Choose QB Jared Goff With No. 1 Pick in Draft :::: #NFL

The 2016 NFL Draft took place on Thursday (A
pril 29), and as expected, the Los Angeles Rams used the first overall pick to draft a quarterback.
It began with the Rams selecting California's Jared Goff, the 22nd quarterback taken with the first overall pick in the draft (since 1967) and the first Cal quarterback to land in the first round since the Green Bay Packers took Aaron Rodgers at No. 24 in 2005.
The Rams are returning to Los Angeles this season. They traded two first-, two second- and two third-round picks to the Tennessee Titans to move from No. 15 to No. 1 in the draft to get Goff.
