Lil Wayne Denied Visa To Tour In Europe: Report

Following his "I Am Music II" tour in the States, Lil Wayne was planning to head overseas for a bunch of dates, as he gears up for the release of the highly anticipated Tha Carter IV album.
However, the rapper will have to cancel upcoming shows in Europe and the U.K. after he was denied a visa, due to his previous weapons conviction.
Weezy was set to embark on an overseas run of tour dates and summer festival performances to coincide with the release of his upcoming album, but now, he'll have to re-formulate his plan.
UK publication, Stereoboard, reported that Wayne was refused a work permit by U.K. officials, specifically because of his and subsequent 2007 weapons arresteight-month prison sentence.
They also cited run-ins with police finding marijuana, cocaine and MDMA on his tour bus in 2008, and another weed bust on the Texas border in 2009.
The Young Money camp have yet to comment on the news.
