50 Cent is planning some expansion to his empire ... into the world of comedy, says reports.
Following the successful launch of his website ThisIs50.com a few
years ago, the hip-hop mogul has launched a comedy arm of his digital
property at ThisIs50Comedy.com.
Currently the site is live, but its more of a soft launch.
the new site's official launch will take place on Thursday (April 28),
and will feature the debut of 50's comedy show, dubbed the "This Is 50
Comedy Show."
The show will be taped in front of a live audience in the Times
Square Arts Center in New York City, and will be streamed live online.
The show will be hosted by ThisIs50 regular, comedian Jack Thriller,
and will return on the last Thursday of each month, bringing the site's
subscribers "the cutting-edge humor of the nation's funniest comedians,"
according to the website.
50 is charging $2.99 for access to the show, which will benefit Japan's relief fund.
