"Mack 10 Undergoes Surgery For Stomach Pains", Currently Recovering

West coast rap vet, Mack 10, was hospitalized earlier this month after suffering severe stomach pains.
His camp revealed this week that the 39-year-old rapper underwent surgery on Monday (April 11), in which six inches of the problem area in his stomach were removed.
"The surgery was successful and the rapper is expected to fully recover," a rep said.
Mack had been diagnosed with diverticulitis, a swelling of an abnormal pouch in the intestinal wall, after checking into an L.A. hospital for "unbearable pain" in his stomach.
Following his surgery, Mack will remain hospitalized, under the care of doctors for 10 more days, after which he will be released to the care of family to complete his recovery at home.
The Globalhiphopevents.com staff wishes Mack 10 a speedy recovery.
In other Mack 10 news, the rapper's new collaborative effort with protege Glasses Malone, entitled Money Music, hit stores Tuesday (April 12).
The album consists of 11 new tracks, featuring guest appearances from Red Cafe, Fingazz, Richie Rich, and Boobie Soprano.
