This summer, a new hotel is slated to “drop” in Brooklyn. Hotel BPM,
named for the music term referring to the pace count of a song, “beats
per minute,” is being launched by hip-hop deejay DJ Bijal. The
boutique-style property will offer 75 guest rooms,
environmentally-conscious amenities and a DJ Bijal-selected soundtrack
streaming throughout its public areas. The new hotel brings the two
worlds of music and hospitality together, right in the heart of
Brooklyn.   “As a deejay, I’ve had the opportunity to travel often,”
says DJ Bijal, Visionary and Founder of Hotel BPM.  “This hotel is the
culmination of the best hotels I visited when I was on the road: BPM
will offer great value, great comfort, and great style.”   Each of
Hotel BPM’s 75 guestrooms will feature modern décor, bathrooms
outfitted with Porcelanosa marble showers and full soundproofing.
Among the guests’ amenities are environmentally-friendly, Gilchrist &
Soames BeeKind bath products; 40-inch HDTVs; laptop-size safes;
personal Keurig coffeemakers and free Wi-Fi.  A lounge serving
beverages and light fare will be located just off the lobby, and a
fitness room and guest parking are also on-site.  Hotel BPM will offer
King and Double room categories, with King rooms starting at $160 per
room, per night, based on double occupancy and Doubles starting at
$180 per room, per night, based on double occupancy.   Hotel BPM is
located in the Sunset Park region of Brooklyn, which neighbors Park
Slope and boasts easy access to many local attractions including The
Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island, The Brooklyn Museum and the Barclays
Center, the future home of the Brooklyn Nets. The D, N and R Subway
lines, which can swiftly shuttle guests to the nearby attractions of
Brooklyn and Manhattan, are within walking distance of the property.
