"Nicki Minaj In Talks With Spears"

Nicki Minaj has confirmed she has been in talks with Britney Spears regarding her upcoming tour.

Nicki Minaj, who has enjoyed success with her debut album ’Pink Friday,’ has confirmed that she has been approached by the Princess of Pop as a possible support for her summer tour, in an interview with Elle Magazine. "We’re talking," she said. But added that no contracts had been signed yet. "I would love to, but I don’t know yet. I can neither confirm or deny the rumours !"

Rumours of the addition of Minaj first appeared following Enrique Iglesias’ last minute exit from the dates, which begin in June. The rapper/singer, real name Onika Tanya Maraj, recently joined label mate Lil Wayne on his comeback ’I Am Still the Music’ tour following his stint in prison. The singer was discovered and signed by Lil Wayne and was the first singer in history to have 7 Billboard 100 songs simultaneously.

Earlier this week the vibrant singer was a spectacle in New York at the launch of the new Casio Tryx camera. According to the Wall St Journal , Minaj posed outside the venue with a group of fans from a look-a-like contest. She autographed a pink version of the camera, which will be auctioned in aid of the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.
