The Portland Trail Blazers has reached an agreement with guard C.J. McCollum on a four-year extension worth $106 million, reports ESPN.
The deal comes after the 24-year-old was voted the NBA's Most Improved Player this past season. It was a breakthrough third season for McCollum with the Blazers, his first as a full-time starter, where he averaged career highs of 20.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 80 games.
With McCollum's emergence, Portland made a surprising run to the playoffs and upset the Clippers in the first round before eventually being eliminated by the Warriors.
He was the No. 10 pick in the 2014 draft.
