Drake’s Producer Noah “40” Shebib Talks “Views From The 6” :::: #Music

With Drake's anticipated Views From The 6 album due in April, his longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib recently opened up about the creative process.

In a chat with B-Real on his "Smokebox" series, 40 explains that finding the right balance, while representing Toronto is the goal.

"It's just the balance of finding that space to make such a project that's based around our city and then also we coming out here to the West Coast to escape some of that harsh winter and find a good creative space," he says. "It has to be a balance of both of those locations though, for what it's supposed to be."

While Views is due in April, 40 admits that he and Drake are still working on it. "We're getting very, very close and the time will come, I think, when Drake's ready to pull that trigger," he said.

So far, Drake has released the track, "Summer Sixteen", but an exact date is not set.
