Rihanna cancelled her Grammy performance on Monday, with her camp citing bronchitis for the last-minute cancellation... but some reports say she had a meltdown.
According to TMZ, citing Grammy-connected sources and insiders who were present during the singer's rehearsals, the pop star became upset and angry over the run-through. One source was quoted as saying she had "a meltdown"... before abruptly leaving Staples Center.
Rihanna's camp said her doctor "put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords," a rep said on Monday.
During the evening, Riri herself tweeted an apology to her fans, saying: "so sorry I couldn't be there ..... Thanks Grammys and CBS for your support tonight."
