Motorola Razr Not Returning, Company Apologizes For Trolling :::: #Tech

Motorola trolled us all in May, when it teased the return of its iconic Razr flip phone.
It released a nostalgic video (see below), in which the company paid homage to likely its most popular mobile phone ever, titled "Moto 06.09.16", leading us to believe that a new, updated version would be coming.
Apparently, Motorola was just trolling us, and has reportedly apologized for getting our hopes up, saying that the video was meant to stir up excitement for its upcoming smartphone, thenew Moto Z.

The Motorola Razr was released in late 2004, and by the summer of 2006, it has sold more than 50 million units. During its four-year run, it sold more than 130 million units total and became one of the best-selling phones ever.
