NFL QB Tarvaris Jackson Charged With Assault :::: #Sports

Free agent NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is facing assault charges, after allegedly threatening a woman in Florida, reports ESPN.
According to the arrest report (via the Orlando Sentinel), Jackson was staying at a vacation home in the Regal Oaks Resort nearly Orlando, when he returned drunk at around midnight Friday (June 24). He kicked in the upstairs bedroom door and began yelling at the woman, who went downstairs and grabbed a knife.
The unnamed woman told police that Jackson followed her downstairs, grabbed a handgun out of a bag and pointed it at her, saying, "I'll kill you [expletive]. I'll kill you."

While Jackson told police who responded that there was no gun, both a gun and container of marijuana were found on the kitchen counter.
Three children were also asleep in the vacation home during the incident, according to the report.
Jackson was booked in Osceola County Jail on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and posted bond later Friday
The NFL free agent has played in the NFL for 10 years, the latest being with the Seattle Seahawks this past season. He has not started a game since 2011.
