Troy Ave Pleads Not Guilty to Murder Charge, Claims He’s the Victim :::: #Music

Following his arrest last week in th
e Irving Plaza shooting in NYC, rapper Troy Ave has pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge.
During his hearing, the rapper (real name: Roland Collins) claimed, through his attorney Scott Leemon, that he was victim in the incident, according to the New York Daily News. "What really happened here is Mr. Collins here is the real victim," Leemon said.

He also claimed that BSB affiliate Banga (born Ronald McPhatter), who was killed that night, was not shot by Troy. "The person who was killed at this event, he died a hero. He (McPhatter) was his bodyguard. He wasn't shot by Mr. Collins. He was a lifelong friend."
The shooting took place during a T.I. concert inside Irving Plaza last Wednesday (May 25), during which Bang was shot and killed and two others were injured. Troy Ave, himself, was also shot in the leg.
Since the incident, surveillance footage of Troy Ave firing a handgun inside the venuehas surfaced, which was followed by his arrest.
"This 11 seconds of video that the NYPD released, it doesn't say what happened before, it doesn't say what happened after," Leemon explained. "The scientific evidence will show he didn't shoot himself. This was another rush to judgement."
"In this case he's the victim and should be treated like the victim," Leemon added.
Troy Ave is currently being held without bail.
