In addition to leaks pointing to an all-glass construction and the absence of the headphone jack, here's yet another rumor about the upcoming iPhone 7.
According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9to5Mac), the next version of the iPhone will drop the standard 16GB storage capacity in favor of a minimum of 32GB version.
16GB iPhones debuted as the base model back in 2008 and have remained the norm ever since. But, as smartphones serve as the hub for our lives, storing our music, photos and videos (in 4K even) and countless apps, it makes sense that Apple would upgrade its entry iPhone.
Furthermore, word is, the iPhone 7 will feature 2 GB of RAM, the same as the iPhone 6s, while larger 5.5 inch iPhone 7 Plus will be equipped with 3GB RAM to handle the processing needs demanded by the dual-camera components.
Still, there's no official word from Apple. The unveiling is expected this fall.
