When the soundtrack for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted in December, it made history by earning the highest Billboard 200 debut since The Phantom Menace nearly two decades earlier.
Lucasfilm is releasing a collectible edition of the soundtrack, in the form of a hologram vinyl set.
Hand etched by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science, the set features a 3D hologram of the Millennium Falcon on Disc 1/Side B and a TIE Fighter on Disc 2/Side B. Each hovers over the vinyl as it spins. It also includes a 16-page booklet with liner notes from director J. J. Abrams.
As demonstrated in the video below, you can shine a light above the vinyl as it spins to see the images. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens 2-LP hologram soundtrack drops June 17 at Disney Music Emporium. You can also pre-order the vinyl set online here.
