irst Lady move out of the White House in January, he plans to stay in Washington D.C.
According to the L.A. Times, the 44th U.S. President has decided to lease a nine-bedroom mansion in one of Washington's poshest neighborhoods.
The estate, which sports a castle-like exterior, sits on a quarter-acre lot located down the road from the Naval Observatory, the vice president's official residence, in the wealthy Kalorama neighborhood near Embassy Row.

It was remodeled in 2011, bringing the total number of bathrooms to 8 1/2, while also adding three fireplaces and an "au pair suite," spread out over around 8,200 square feet. It also features parking for up to 10 cars.
Records indicate the home was built in the 1920s, and last sold in 2013 for about $5.3 million.
