Original “Space Jam” Director Already Bashing Sequel ::: #Entertainment

Following reports that a Space Jam se
quel is in the works, with LeBron James starring, we're already seeing some criticism... from the film's original director.
Joe Pytka recently told The Hollywood Reporter that Space Jam 2 director Justin Lin should quit while ahead... because there's no beating the original.
"Don't do it," he said. "It's doomed. Michael Jordan was the biggest star on the planet."
"When we did Space Jam, there was a perfect storm of players and ex-players
available -- Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing," Pytka explained. "They all had a persona that complemented the film. There are none around like that now."
Pytka goes on to argue that Stephen Curry has already "eclipsed" LeBron, while pointing out that Space Jam 2 may not hit theaters for, at least, two more years... and by then, will LeBron still be the NBA's top star?
What do you think? Should a Space Jam 2 even be made? And, should LeBron star? Let us know.
