Kehlani Delivers Emotional Speech in First Show Since Suicide Attempt :::: #Music

Following a suicide attempt earlier this
year, Kehlani is back on the road... and during a recent stop on tour, she opened up about mental illness.
"[Suicide] is something that so many young people are dealing with," she told fans in the audience. "And, so many young people slip under the rug. Please don't try it. Don't do it."

Then, as she referenced her own attempt, Kehlani revealed: "It wasn't a first time thing, and that's not okay... for anyone. Not for the people around you, not for the people that love you, not the people that care about you."
Kehlani made headlines in March, when she posted a photo of herself in the hospital recovering from an apparent suicide attempt, which was captioned with: "Today I wanted to leave the Earth."
The suicide attempt followed immense backlash after she appeared in bed with ex-boyfriend PARTYNEXTDOOR in an Instagram photo, when she was believed to be dating NBA star Kyrie Irving. She later addressed her relationship with both, writing: "God saved me for a reason, and for that.. I must be grateful.. Cuz I'm not in heaven right now for a reason."
Following the drama, Kehlani is back at it and on-stage performing again.
