Apple to Kill Music Downloads from iTunes Within Two Years :::: #Music

Apple is making a big push to its Apple Musi
c streaming service, and will reportedly remove music download capability from the iTunes Store altogether within two years.
According to Digital Music News, the tech giant is setting an "aggressive, two-year termination timetable" to closing the music downloads ... forever. One executive is even quoted as saying, "keeping iTunes [music downloads] running forever isn't really on the table anymore."

While iTunes makes hundreds of millions in revenues each year, sales are slowing, as fans continue to shift toward online streaming services.
Music industry insider Mark Mulligan estimates that iTunes downloads will be worth around $600 million USD in 2019, down from nearly $4 billion in 2012.
What do you think? Downloads or streaming? Which do you prefer?
