'Miami Vice' look for Heat remains fantasy for the moment :::: #MiamiHeat

Mock-ups of Heat "Miami Vice" uniforms forwarded to Heat owner Micky Arison. So what do you get when you combine Miami Heat and Miami Vice? Fantasy. Pure fantasy.
That, of course, hasn't stopped Heat owner Micky Arison when it comes to the possibilities, which had him earlier this week offering fan-inspired mock-ups of Heat uniforms themed in Miami Vice pink and teal.
As part of his offseason Twitter and Instagram assault, Arison posted two theoretical Heat jerseys on Instagram, with a caption of: "If u would like to see@Adidas produce these jerseys comment here and I will pass it on to them and the @NBA. #LetsGoHEAT"
Except.

Except the Heat's jerseys already have been assigned for the coming season, including several alternate editions, one with a military theme.
In addition, the NBA's uniform contract with Adidas expires after 2016-17, with Nike to then take over, minimizing Adidas incentive to begin marketing additional alternative jerseys.
But Arison asked for comments and got plenty, including:
"Yes please."
"AWESOME."
"Yeassssssssss plz plz plz"
"I'd buy one the first week"
"Yes it's only right"
"These are so sick"
"Let's make this happen!"
Within a day, Arison's Instagram post had received more than 6,000 Likes.
As it is, the Heat already have utilized one Vice element, in previous seasons introducing players to Phil Collins' Vice-centric "In the Air Tonight."
It all started from a reddit post from WelshNBAFan, who, upon Arison's repost, posted, "Yeah, they were originally just concepts, and never thought that it would get this big! If these are actually going to be created, i'd imagine that there would be a few tweaks and changes."
Before that, a prior post from that account read:
"how exactly would i get in contact with Micky Arison ha, i posted on his IG photo, but other than that i cant really see a way in which he'll notice me, or the other guys that came up with this and did their part.. And about the tickets.. That would be awesome!!! I come from Wales UK, and never been to the states. I would LOVE to go to Miami, and watch a few games, thats the dream!"
As for what the Heat will wear this coming season, according to the leaked draft of the Adidas "NBA New Identities" catalogue, the Heat also will wear alternate and "Hardwood Classic Nights" throwback jerseys with red lettering on a white base, a "stretch" version of their road uniform, in addition to their traditional home and road uniforms, and a Christmas uniform variety. The Heat are not listed among the teams that will wear short-sleeved "Pride" jerseys, but there is an expected return of their Latin Nights "El Heat" jerseys at midseason.
