Smartphone connectivity with sporting goods is trending more and more these days. The latest product to offer this is the Wilson X Collection basketball.
The basketball features an embedded sensor, which counts makes and misses in real time through a companion app for iOS devices, with the Android app following later this fall. It can also track two-pointers, three pointers and free throws and then allows you to share the stats with your friends via social networks.
The Wilson X ball is available in the 29.5-inch Official size and a 28.5-inch Intermediate size, both available online for $199 USD.
