Doritos announced this week a new rainbow-colored bag of chips in support of the LGBT community.
Created in conjunction with the It Gets Better Project, an organization formed to raise awarness around the bullying of gay and lesbian teenagers, the limited-edition version of the brand's Cool Ranch-flavored chips come in shades of green, blue, purple, red and orange -- inspired by the colors of the gay pride flag.
"Doritos Rainbows chips are a first-of-its-kind product supporting the LGBT community. Doritos the brand has stood 'for the bold,' and we believe there is nothing bolder than being yourself," said Ram Krishnan, Frito-Lay's CMO.
Unfortunately, the Doritos Rainbow Chips are not sold in stores. Instead, bags areavailable online with a $10 USD donation.
