Kanye West, Other Celebrities Donate Items For Hurricane Sandy Relief Auction

Kanye West, along with other celebrities, combined their efforts to aid Hurricane Sandy relief by auctioning off various clothing items.
According to Billboard.com, many of the entertainment industry's most prominent figures have joined forces with Re/Create New York to hold a series of fashion auctions with proceeds benefiting Hurricane Sandy relief.
In addition to Kanye, the participants include Skrillex, Michael Stipe (formerly of R.E.M.), actress Anne Hathaway, Mark Jacobs, and Kate Moss. Ye contributed an autographed pair of his signature Yeezy IIs.
"Like many New Yorkers, we were saddened by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy and motivated to help," Re/Create said on their website. "To assist the ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts we are proud to present this auction of personal, one of a kind items donated by prominent members of our creative community."
Skrillex donated his "Baby Maker" WeSC jacket he wore at the 2012 Grammys; supermodel Kate Moss offered up the Kate Moss book, signed and kissed; fashion designer Marc Jacobs gave up an autographed Mini Stam bag; and actress Anne Hathaway donated a signed Miu Miu dress to name a few.
As of press time, the auctions have raised $4,583.00 to the cause. For more info, or to bid on an item, visit ReCreateNewYork.org.
