Run The Jewels x “Gears of War 4” Horde Trailer :::: #Tech

Run The Jewels offers a first sneak peek of their upcoming, third studio set, Run The Jewels 3, by unleashing a cut, exclusively in the trailer for Gears of War 4's co-op mode, Horde 3.0.

The song is titled "Panther Like a Panther", and is available at the RTJ website here.

Apparently, the video game partnership made perfect sense for the duo. After all, Killer Mike and El-P became part of the Gears family last year, when they appeared as multiplayer characters.

"Run the Jewels was on heavy rotation when we started laying the groundwork for the next era of Gears back in 2014, and has been there ever since," said Rod Fergusson, Studio Head at The Coalition. "The fact that two career artists came together as a group to create something so special -- a rarity in modern hip-hop -- are things that Gears fans will immediately recognize and appreciate."
As for Gears 4, Horde 3.0 marks the return of the popular multiplayer survival mode that pits up to five players against waves of enemies. This is the first time "Horde" has appeared in a Gears of War game in five years, and returns to the mode’s trademark co-op multiplayer intensity, with the addition of modern touches such as classes, abilities and fortifications.

Fans in the Seattle area can meet Run The Jewels and Gears co-creator Rod Fergusson on Sept. 3 at BAIT (915 E Pike St, Seattle, WA) from 2-3pm for exclusive collaboration giveaways.

Gears of War 4 drops Oct. 7. Pre-order your copy at Amazon.
