Slick Rick Announces First Ever UK Tour :::: #Music

After getting his U.S. citizenship earlier this year, music legend Slick Rick announces his first ever UK tour.

Dubbing the "Coming Home Tour", he will kick things off on Nov. 25 in Manchester, before heading to London, Bristol, Birmingham and Dublin, before the final stop on Nov. 30 in Brighton.

The tour will be Rick's first visit to London since he (then known as MC Ricky D) and Doug E. Fresh appeared on Top of the Pops in 1985, where they performed their iconic tracks "The Show" and "La Di Da Di".

In April, Slick Rich was finally granted his U.S. citizenship, following a 23-year battle with the U.S. Immigration Bureau. He still retains his British citizenship.

"I'm coming home, back to my foundation, my make-up, my English roots," Rick says. "I'm looking forward to a nice cup of tea and some tasty biscuits."

Tour dates are as follows:

Nov. 25 - Mantra, Manchester
Nov. 26 - 02 Forum, London
Nov. 27 - 02 Academy, Bristol
Nov. 28 - 02 Institute, Birmingham
Nov. 29 - The Sugar Club, Dublin, Ireland
Nov. 30 - Concorde 2, Brighton
