Designer Eric Emanuel teams up with New Era for the release of a collection of fitted caps.
Using the 59FIFTY cap, he utilizes waxed canvas construction, instead of the traditional wool. Each cap features a retro green underbrim and the double "E" insignia on the side; and is available for MLB teams such as the Yankees, Astros, Athletics, Red Sox, White Sox, Dodgers, Indians, Pirates and Braves -- all in their signature colorways.
"To me, the perfect hat is the one you’ve already broken in. Waxed canvas allows the hat to age better, as well as hold a better shape," says Emanuel of his choice of material.
Eric Emanuel's New Era cap collection drops Friday (Sept. 16) at New Era's SoHo location in NYC at 11 am EST, with an online release at 12 am EST.
