Michael Jordan Can’t Offer Jordan Brand Deals To Players, Says NBA :::: #NBA

Michael JordanIn light of the NBA fining the Los Angeles Clippers for offering a third-party endorsement in their pitch to DeAndre Jordan, the topic of outside deals have been discussed.
It applies to everybody, including Michael Jordan, says ESPN.com. Specifically, regarding shoe deals with his Jordan Brand.
MJ, who is the owner of the Charlotte Hornets, cannot offer Jordan Brand endorsement deals to any players, due to salary cap rules that forbid third-party endorsements. Instead, any Jordan brand shoe deals would need to be decided by an executive at Jordan Brand that isn't Michael Jordan.
ESPN's Darren Rovell, however, points out that six Hornets players have gotten Jordan Brand deals in the last seven years.
