Nicki Minaj Vs. Taylor Swift? Pair Exchange Words Over MTV VMAs

Taylor Swift and Nicki MinajFollowing the announcement of the nominees for MTV's 2015 VMAs, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to blast the network for omitting her hit "Anaconda" from the Video of the Year category.
While the video received nods for Best Female and Best Hip Hop Video, the rapper felt it deserved more, due to the magnitude of its impact. So, on Twitter, Nicki would insinuate that the snub was likely due to racism, saying that if she was a different "kind" of artist or one of the "other" girls, she'd get the nod.
Later, she added: "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year"
Apparently, Taylor Swift, who leads this year's nominees, felt like that last comment could've been directed at her... and replied.

Despite how it might've sounded to Taylor, Nicki replied with confusion.
"Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this," Nicki tweeted. "I'm still confused as to why u just tweeted me when I made it abundantly clear... "
In response to one of her fans, the rapper wrote: "Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it."
What do you think? Should "Anaconda" have been nominated for Video of the Year?
