Birdman Breaks Silence In Lil Wayne Drama

Lil Wayne and BirdmanSince Lil Wayne blasted Cash Money Records last December, Birdman has remained quiet... until now.
The Cash Money Records co-founder recently sat down with Angie Martinez in Miami, addressing all the controversial topics. Obviously, the most important being Lil Wayne.
"It was shocking to everybody. I never thought Mula [Wayne] would be saying nothing negative about me, ever.
"So that man open his mouth and say something negative about me, that was a lot -- that sh*t f*cked my day up," Birdman continued. "I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life."
Elsewhere, he addressed rumors that if Wayne leaves, then his Young Money would leave with him... including Drake and Nicki Minaj. His answer: "No, you're listening to what they say. Nicki and Drake ain't going nowhere, regardless."

Throughout the interview, Birdman continually referred to Wayne as "my son," and promised to support him, either way. "That's my son at the end of the day. I'm going to support him."
He also revealed that he hasn't spoken to Wayne during the ongoing drama... but said it will happen. "I feel like in due time we're going to do it, but this ain't the place or time for it."
