COMMON’S “LUV” TO HIT THEATERS NOVEMBER 9TH :::: Video


After receiving much praise at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, rapper Common’s riveting flick Luv will make its splash onto movie screens on November 9. The Chicago native plays an ex-convict, who has been awarded guardianship of his nephew, all the while attempting to figure out his own life amidst his dark struggles. Along with premiering at various other festivals, that including the American Black Film Festival and Los Angeles Film Festival, the film will supposedly find its way onto network TV – courtesy of Black Entertainment, with hopes of viewing it in the near future. Joining Common in Luv are veteran actors Michael Rainey Jr., Danny Glover, Charles S. Dutton and Dennis Haysbert. Check out a trailer for it up above.
