Louisiana rapper Webbie was arrested this week on batter and robbery charges, from an incident with a women who claims the rapper kicked her down a flight of stairs and stole $340 from her purse.
Webbie, however, denies any such incident ever happened.
The woman filed a police report in Baton Rouge, LA, accusing Webbie of attacking a woman inside a Chase Suite Hotel early Thursday morning (September 13), after being banned from the premises. Then, a short time later, he kicked her down two sets of stairs and stole money from her.
Why? Those details are currently unclear. But, the report says Webbie was arrested on the scene at approximately 2:30 AM.
The rapper's rep tells me the women at a party on Wednesday evening (September 12), but denies he attacked her. However, he does admit to taking the money, but insists it was his ... and the woman in question had stolen it from him.
Webbie is currently free on $9,000 bond.
