t looks like Young Thug and Lil Wayne will go head-to-head this Independence Day... as each rapper is set to release their respective projects on the same day.
Thugger took to Instagram on Tuesday (June 23) to announce his next mixtape, Slime Season, due out July 4.
"July 4th lets get it!!" he wrote, along with a teaser for a new song produced by London on Da Track.
Last week, Wayne announced that he would release his Free Weezy Album also on July 4th. It's expected to drop via Jay Z's streaming service TIDAL, which he recentlypartnered with.
