Kimbo Slice KO’s Ken Shamrock At Bellator 138

The experience of Ken Shamrock wasn't enough to defeat former backyard brawler Kimbo Slice on Saturday night (June 19), who took the win via KO at Bellator 138.
The headlining bout began with the 51-year-old MMA legend taking control by easily shooting in for the take down multiple times.
At one point, Shamrock got into position and implemented a tight rear-naked choke, but Kimbo refused to tap. Eventually, he got free and back up on his feet and ultimately landed at hard right hand that put Ken on his back.
Referee John McCarthy stepped in at 2:22 of the first round to call the fight.
"I've been in this position before," Slice said. "At American Top Team, we trained my ground game very well. I went over a lot with Malachy Friedman and Mike Brown. Tapping is not an option."
The victory marks the third knockout of Slice's MMA career, while Shamrock suffered his 10th official knockout loss.
