With his forthcoming Based On A T.R.U. Story debut set due in mid-August, 2 Chainz plans to hit the road in support of the record as a headliner, following a slew of treks as the supporting act.
After hitting the road with Nicki Minaj on her "Roman Reloaded" tour and Drake's "Club Paradise" tour, the Atlanta rapper announced dates for his upcoming "Based on a T.R.U. Story" tour this week, which will kick off at the end of August.
The tour is slate to kick off on August 30th in Virginia, before he heads on the road through late September, making stops in DC, Detroit, and Chicago. Then, he'll wrap things up in Austin, Texas on September 10.

"One of the things I enjoy the most about being an artist is the opportunity to get on the stage and give the fans everything they deserve," said 2 Chainz. "Everything they've come to expect from me. I've performed alongside some of the best in this business, but this time will be something special. This time it's all me."
