Surprise, surprise ... Snoop Dogg was busted for weed Thursday morning (June 28).
The hip-hop legend was detained at an airport in Norway Thursday after customs officers discovered eight grams of marijuana.
Authorities say anything less than 15 grams is merely punishable by a fine, so Snoop's violation cost him 12,000 Norwegian Krone, equal to roughly $1,980.13.
Snoop was reportedly cooperative, quickly paid his fine, and was sent on his way.
The rapper is in Norway for a scheduled performance at the Hove Festival later this evening.
