Meek Mill Breaks Silence In Chris Brown/Drake Drama, Denies Getting Involved :::: Hip-Hop News

Meek Mill
Meek Mill is the first to break his silence in the high publicized brawl between Chris Brown and Drake's entourages in NYC last week.
The Maybach Music recording artist was reportedly with Drake, and was said to be involved ... but in a recent interview with XXLMag.com, he denied that either party got into a brawl. Instead, Meek points to people around each superstar as the culprits, not Brown or Drake.
"Chris and Drake, them two was there, but it's other people that be around that take sh** to the next level," the rapper explained. "Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh**. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there."
As far as Meek's involvement, he said he didn't do anything ... and even claims he and Brown spoke immediately after things went down.

"F*** no," Meek replied when asked if he threw a bottle. "What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain't got no problem. I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards -- like immediately, like, 'There's nothing there, this-that-and-the-third.' Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand. That don't mean it's out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake."
As widely reported, a brawl broke out at NYC's WIP nightclub last Thursday (June 14) between members of Chris Brown and Drake's entourages. During the altercation, Breezy took a bottle to the face, leaving a nasty gash on his chin ... which he tweeted about shortly after.
Since the incident took place, there's been various stories as to what happened -- from Drake refusing a bottle of champagne from Brown to insulting him about his ex-girlfriend Rihanna to Meek Mill getting involved physically, etc., etc. All reports remain rumors, with neither artist addresses the situation publicly, as of press time.
Both have also refused to co-operate with police in their investigation.
In late May, there was some sort of Twitter argument between all three artists ... over Rihanna. Read more about that, over at XXLMag.com as well.
