NFL Star Pacman Jones Ordered To Pay $11.6 Million To 2007 Strip Club Shooting Victims :::: NFL News

Pacman Jones
Troubled NFL star Pacman Jones finally got a decision in a civil suit he had faced, stemming from his infamous 2007 strip incident where he made it rain and two security guards were shot.
If you are unaware of Jones' situation, here's how the story goes...
During the 2007 NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas, the NFL star made it rain with thousands of dollar in singles at a strip club called Minxx. From there, things got a little out of hand.
Jones reportedly got upset when the dancers started taking the money without his permission, because he wanted it all returned at the end of the evening. A fight ensued outside the club and three people were shot, including security guards Aaron Cudworth and Thomas Urbanski.

Both men sued Pacman over the shooting, though he was not the shooter.
Jones got his decision in the lawsuit on Friday (May 15). A Nevada judge has ordered him to pay over $11.6 million in damages to both shooting victims.
Cudworth was awarded $1.3 million in damages, while Urbanski -- who was paralyzed from the waist down in the incident -- got $9.6 million. Urbanski's wife sued for loss of marital relations and won $750k.
Jones had pled no contest to misdemeanor conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct, and was sentenced to 1 year probation and 200 hours of community service.
