The pop star collaborated with photographer Renata Raksha for the shoot, in which Rihanna is captured as she sees herself. With the shoot, she becomes the first artist in the magazine's history to snap themselves for the cover.
On the cover, Rihanna sports a pink slip dress over a ROCHAS varsity knit, which she completes with own Fenty PUMA pink fur slides.
The cover story does not include an extensive interview, but she does answer five questions over email, which have yet to be published.
The FADER's 100th issue hits newsstands Oct. 27.
