Rick Ross Reveals Reebok-Powered Big-And-Tall Line, Signs Omarion To Maybach Music

Rick Ross alongside MMG artists Omarion and WaleRick Ross bossed it up on Wednesday (May 2), making a few announcements via a press conference in New York, in which he revealed his newest ventures and latest Maybach Music Group signee.
With industry heavyweights like Diddy, producer Swizz Beatz, and record executive Lyor Cohen on hand, Rozay announced a few big happenings -- the upcoming launch of a big-and-tall line with Reebok, a couple releases to come over the next several months, and the signing of singer Omarion.
"I got ya'll, big guys, tall guys," said Rozay.
"He, to me, is definitely one of the hardest working men in this business. This is no accident. This is all designed, this is all planned out," Diddy added, praising the Miami hip-hop star's rise over the last several years.
One of the afternoon's biggest news was Omarion's new contract with the Maybach Music Group.
The pair met recently, and after chopping it up in a Miami studio, where they previewed a slew of the singer's latest work, Ross did everything in his power to make sure Omarion didn't leave without signing on the dotted line.

"Today I become a made man. Omarion aka Maybach O.," the former B2K member told reporters.
"I ran into the homie, we had a few conversations and I flew him down to Miami and he played me a dozen records," Ross added. "I was amazed by the music he put together. We had a few conversations and we made a situation happen. He's a phenomenal entertainer. His dancing is incredible. He's an actor, he's a writer. I thought it would be a great move for both of us. I've been looking to enter the R&B arena, I felt he was the best artist to kick the doors open."
The first order of business for Omarion as an MMG artist is an upcoming EP. While details about the project were scarce, it was revealed that the first single is "Let's Talk", which features Ross and samples Notorious B.I.G. and Salt-n-Pepa.
Rozay also revealed his upcoming album release schedule.
He plans to follow-up 2011's MMG compilation, Self Made, Vol. 1, with the release of Vol. 2, on June 26, featuring the lead single, "Bag Of Money."
After that, Ross will finally drop his long-awaited fifth album, God Forgives, I Don't, on July 31st, via Def Jam, and calls it his "best body of work yet." Rozay says its first single will be released "extremely soon."
Then, it's Meek Mill on deck. He'll be dropping his major label debut, Dreams & Nightmares, on August 28th. However, his anticipated Dreamchasers 2 mixtape will be first, hitting the Internet next Monday (May 7).
