The world's smartest football? That's that the Wilson X Connected is being touted as. Constructed with internal sensors, the football is capable of telling you how far, fast and efficiently you're throwing the ball.
After each throw, its sensors transfer information over Bluetooth to your iPhone, and the stats can be viewed on its accompanying iOS app. It also allows you to conduct games you can play with the ball and record leaderboards.
The best part: it needs no charging. Instead, it is powered by a watch-style battery that was made to last over 200,000 tracked passes.
The Wilson X Connected is available in the official NFL size, as well as youth sizes, for $200 USD, beginning Sept. 8. Pre-orders are open now.
