Looks Like Popularity of “Pokémon Go” is Declining :::: #Tech

After a red hot start, the popularity of Pokémon Go has started to decline.

Data from Sensor Tower, SurveyMonkey, and Apptopia (via Bloomberg), the game's daily active users, downloads, engagement, and time spent on the app per day are on a downward trend.

The above graph displays the number of active users of the app across the world, and the line is gradually headed down.

Daily engagement is also falling at a rapid rate.

"The declining trends should assuage investor concerns about the impact of Pokémon Go on time spent on the above named companies," writes Axiom Capital Management Senior Analyst Victor Anthony. "The Google Trends data is already showing declining interest in augmented reality, whereas interest in virtual reality remains high."
