Birdman Still Hopeful He’ll Work Things Out With Lil Wayne :::: #Music

Although Lil Wayne has been rocking "F*ck Cash Money" hats and his lawsuit is still pending, Birdman is still hopeful they can work it out.

The hip-hop mogul sat with ESPN's Cari Champion this week, for her "Be Honest" podcast, and offered an update on his relationship with Wayne.

"I'ma heal that. He's still my son," Birdman explained. "I don't like how a lot of this sh*t went down; definitely don’t like a lot of sh*t he had said. But at the end of the day, I would never in my life say nothing negative about him. I wouldn't be a man if I can say somebody is my son and I can speak down on him. That’s not a man. I look at him as my son and I won't finish the game without Wayne. Even if he stay with me or go do whatever he want to do. I respect him as a son. I'ma fix it. Whatever happens after that, we gon' let it be."

Lil Wayne has sued Birdman and Cash Money Records over the delay of his long awaited album, Tha Carter V, as well as unpaid royalties.
