BMW introduces its race track-ready 2016 M4 GTS, a special edition model limited to 700 units, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the BMW M3.
The M4 GTS boasts BMW's award-winning six-cylinder, in-line turbo engine from the M3/M4, but adds innovative water injection technology to give the 3.0-liter a power boost. The water injection system raises the engine's output significantly to 500 horsepower, and allows it to reach 0-60 in a mere 3.8 seconds, alongside a capped top speed of nearly 190 mph.
BMW also incorporated the use of aluminum and carbon fiber throughout the M4 for lightweight construction, as well as organic LED technology.
Inside, the M4 GTS boasts carbon-fiber M bucket seats, exclusive Alcantara/Merino leather seat covering along with M stripes in the backrests, three-point seat belts and door pull loops.
