Shares In Jay Z’s TIDAL Soared After Star-Studded Launch

Following the star-studded launch of his new streaming service TIDAL on Monday (March 30), shares of the app's parent company Aspiro skyrocketed.
According to Reuters, shares of the company shot through the roof, spiking 938% to 11 Swedish crowns before trading was halted.
The launch featured some of music's biggest stars, including Madonna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Coldplay. TIDAL bills itself as the first service of its kind to be owned by artists.
11 Swedish Krona equals out to $1.27 a share.
