After nearly two years of dating, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have broken up.
On Thursday (Jan. 5), Nicki confirmed rumors that the two have split, while saying she's moving forward with her career.
"To confirm, yes I am single," she tweeted. "Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u."
The confirmation comes shortly after Meek posted a video on Instagram, in which he says, "I need love," while singing along to LL Cool J's classic. A friend, who appears off-camera, adds: "You need a f*ckin’ thot."
The couple began dating in early 2015, in the months following her break-up with ex, Safaree Samuels.
