Acer Unveils Beastly Predator 21 X Gaming Laptop :::: #Tech

Following an announcement at IFA 2016 in Berlin last fall, Acer has officially unveiled its new gaming laptop, the Predator 21 X.

Touted as the world's first curved screen laptop, this beast of a machine boasts a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate; a 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7820HK Kaby Lake processor, paired with not just one, but two GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI configuration; and much more. It also comes with 64GB of RAM, and enough room for five storage drives -- one 1TB HDD and four 512GB SSDs.

Furthermore, the new Predator sports a full keyboard with Cherry MX Brown key switches, a numeric keypad that doubles up as a precision touchpad, four speakers, two power supplies, five cooling fans and nine heating pipes.

How much does all that cost? That's the shocker. It'll run you a staggering $9,000 USD, and is set to drop in February.
