Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko Rematch Rescheduled For October :::: #Sports

More than two months after heavyweight champ Tyson Fury pulled out of his rematch with former champ Wladimir Klitschko, due to a sprained ankle, the match has been rescheduled.

The two heavyweights will now meet on Oct. 29 at the Manchester Arena in Fury's hometown of Manchester, England.

The fight was originally scheduled for July 9, but Fury withdrew in late June after suffering a sprained ankle, which his doctor said needed about six weeks to heal.

Fury and Klitschko first fought on Nov. 28 in Germany, ending in one of the biggest upsets in heavyweight history. Fury took the win, via a unanimous decision.

The victory ended Klitschko's 11-year undefeated streak and historic 9 1/2-year title reign, during which he made 18 successful defenses -- the third most in heavyweight history.

Klitschko, who turned 40 in March, immediately exercised his right to a rematch and agreed to fight in Fury's hometown.
